“Help Actually" 8-12 Day free consultation for the injured

Many accidents can cause long-term physical suffering to the injured, whether in the event of industrial, traffic or household accidents. If not timely access to appropriate medical treatment, the after-effects may be more profound. The "Help Actually Wounded Aid Fund " was established on Wednesday, 12 August 2009. The five-stage Lanxiu Road10 thin-term consultation day in the Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon, was held on the 10th day of the consultation, and in just one afternoon, more than 60 people who have had been or are injured had been admitted to the clinic free of charge, and the medical benefits and medicines were completely free of charge. 

 

The "Help Actually Wounded Aid Fund ", following an earlier effort to solicit access to the blind for visually impaired persons, has recently submitted a petition with the Hong Kong Community Development Network Minority Youth Alliance to the Occupational Safety Promotion Unit of the Labour Department to follow up and address the problems in the case of a Young Pakistani girl who died in an industrial accident earlier. The rights and interests of ethnic minority workers who have been neglected, and it is suggested that the relevant authorities should speed up inspections of factories for other irregularities so as to reduce the occurrence of industrial accidents in the future.

 

Launched last year by a person who had been in a traffic accident the "Help Actually Wounded Aid Fund " was officially registered as a non-profit-making organization in Hong Kong on 9 December 2008 and a government-accredited charity on 27 April 2009. The "Friends of Accidents" is set up to provide medical and personal counselling to the injured and their families who have been injured in accidents and to deal with life concerns for them. “Help Actually” is also committed to promoting occupational safety awareness and providing a wide range of medical benefits to assist the injured in their medical and life needs, so that the injured can receive support and assistance from both physical, mental, family, life and work.
