"Help Actually" Feb 6 Free Examination for Injured Persons

Hong Xin attends to support and offer condolences to the injured

Many injured people who have suffered from an accident, if they do not receive proper medical treatment in a timely manner or who do not fully recover, may lead to far-reaching sequelae and long-term physical suffering. It is noted that “Help Actually” Association held a voluntary day under the 59th Ocean Floor at Queen's Road in Central on Saturday, 6 February 2010, free of charge for a free magnetic resonance test for dozens of people who had been or are injured, at a completely free cost, and for head and spinal problems, so that the injured person could be more accurately informed of their internal conditions.

The Association also invited Miss Hong Xin, Ambassador “Help Actually”, to attend the day of the consultation, to offer condolences and visits to the injured who had undertaken the magnetic resonance test to understand the benefits of the new technology for the sick, and finally to send a letter of thanks to the "Life Sketch" Magnetic Resonance Centre, which provided free services, and to thank the magnetic resonance center for sponsoring more than $150,000 in medical expenses. The loving Hong Xin said: "Today is the second day of the Help Actually" charity consultation, which provides free medical services to the injured with financial difficulties, and I feel very meaningful as an ambassador of love. Next week, “Help Actually” will allocate funds to the mother of the youngest victim, Tong Qingtao, in the collapse of the Ma Tau Wai Road, in the hope of doing her best. At that time, Miss Zhang Fengyi, Director-General of the Friends of Accidents, will lead a volunteer team to the Catholic New People's College in Yau Matei, where Tong Qingtao is studying, to hand over a five-digit cheque to her mother, Ms. Li, and to appeal to alumni to continue to donate to the affected residents to help them re-live as soon as possible.

The "Help Actually Wounded Aid Fund " was officially registered as a non-profit-making organization in Hong Kong on 9 December 2008 and became a Government-accredited charity on 27 April 2009. “Help Actually” is set up to provide medical and personal counselling to the injured and their families who have been injured in accidents and to deal with life concerns for them. “Help Actually” is also committed in promoting occupational safety awareness and providing a wide range of medical benefits to assist the injured in their medical and life needs, so that the injured can receive support and assistance from both physical and mental, family, life and work.
